Zendesignen Pty Ltd (ABN 68 217 354 926) ("Zendesignen", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of people who use our website zendesignen.com and our financial literacy and grants consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information you provide voluntarily, including your full name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, family and household composition, employment status, income bracket, business details (ABN/ACN), tax file number (only where strictly required for a specific application you authorise) and any information relevant to grant or tax offset eligibility. We also collect technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited and session duration, via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information to: assess your eligibility for Australian government payments, grants and tax offsets; prepare and lodge applications on your behalf when you authorise us to do so; communicate with you about your matter and our services; comply with our obligations under Australian law (including the Tax Agent Services Act 2009); improve our website and services; and, with your consent, send you newsletters with updates on Australian financial support programs.
3. Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to Australian government agencies (such as the Australian Taxation Office, Services Australia and AusIndustry) for the sole purpose of progressing applications you have authorised, to our employees and independent consultants bound by confidentiality, and to trusted service providers (secure hosting in Australia, identity verification, payment processing) who are bound by contractual privacy obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Overseas disclosure
Your personal information is stored on servers located in Australia. We do not routinely disclose personal information to overseas recipients. Where we must (for example, if you contact us from overseas), we will take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for staff and regular security reviews, to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing privacy@zendesignen.com. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. We will respond to your request within 30 days in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
7. Children
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental or guardian consent.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@zendesignen.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
